Before you ask

Do I need a new Till or Paybill number?
No. ChatPay connects to the Till or Paybill you already have. Your customers keep paying the exact same way — nothing changes on their side.
Do my customers need to install anything?
Nothing to install. When possible, receipts arrive on the WhatsApp they already use. Either way, you're always notified the moment you're paid, so you're never left wondering.
How long does setup take?
About 30 minutes. Add your Till through the signup form and you're live — no developers, no hardware, no paperwork.
Is my payment data safe?
Yes. ChatPay only reads payment confirmations — we never touch or hold your money. It stays in your M-Pesa account as always, and your records are encrypted and visible only to you.
Does ChatPay handle KRA eTIMS filing?
Automatic KRA eTIMS filing is coming soon — it isn't live yet. ChatPay works fully without it in the meantime, and we'll let you know the moment it's ready.
What happens if I go over 50 payments on the free plan?
Nothing breaks. We'll let you know you're near the limit, and you can upgrade to Business (KES 2,500/mo, unlimited) whenever it makes sense.
Can I cancel anytime?
